It is well known that there are many types, specifications and materials of stainless steel elbows, and the production processes of different specifications are also different. Today, I will tell you how stainless steel elbows are made.
Stainless steel elbow
1.Hot push molding
We only use this method for stainless steel seamless elbows that general customers need. The main reason is3The equipment includes a pusher, a core mold and a heating device. The seamless pipe with the cut material is placed on the mold, and the pushing machine is started. As it moves, the pipe blank is heated and bent into shape. The diameter of the cut pipe is determined based on the rule that the volume is consistent before and after the plastic deformation of the pipe. During the heat treatment and heating bending process of the steel pipe, it is supplemented to the remaining positions that are thinned due to the expansion of the diameter, thus obtaining elbows of uniform thickness. This is the production, processing and manufacturing technology of the pushed elbow. The elbows produced by the pushing machine have an attractive appearance, uniform wall thickness and can be processed in batches. They are also used in the forming of some standard stainless steel elbows.
2.Stamping forming
The production and processing technology of stainless steel stamping elbows was initially a standardized processing technology for mass production of seamless elbows. It has long been replaced by hot-pushed elbows in the common elbow models and specifications. However, in some models and specifications of elbows, due to the relatively small total manufacturing volume, the wall thickness is either too thin or too thick. The stamping production and manufacturing process is only used when there are special requirements for the finished product. In the stamping elbow shaping process, the diameter must be consistent with that of the manufactured elbow, and a press is used to directly press and shape it in the mold. Pressed elbows can be divided into cold pressing and hot pressing. The production and processing technology of pressed elbows is selected based on the material of the pressed elbow. The production and processing technology of pressed elbows is far inferior to that of pushed elbows, and the product quality and appearance are far inferior to the former. During the forming of pressed elbows, the outer arc is in a stretched state, and there is no additional material at other positions to supplement, so the thickness at the outer arc is approximately reduced10%Both the upper and lower sides. However, due to its main application in unit production and processing and the feature of low cost, the production and processing technology of pressed elbows is mainly used for the production and processing of high-pressure thick-walled pressed elbows in small batches. The extrusion forming of elbows uses a specialized elbow forming machine. The pipe material is placed in the die. After the upper and lower dies are closed, the pipe material moves along the gap reserved in advance between the inner and outer dies under the push of the push rod, thus completing the forming process. The elbows processed by the inner and outer die cold extrusion technology have a good appearance, uniform wall thickness and small dimensional error. Therefore, the cold extrusion production and manufacturing technology can be used for the production and manufacturing of thin-walled stainless steel elbows. The inner and outer dies used in this processing technology have high precision standards. The standard for the thickness error of the pipe material is also rather strict.
3.Welding forming
The production and manufacturing process of stainless steel butt-weld elbows usually adopts the butt-weld production process for large-diameter elbows. The stainless steel plate is rolled into the shape of the elbow, and then butt-weld is carried out. After the butt-weld, the elbow is given againxFor light sheets and large-diameter elbows, butt-welded elbows are usually used. The appearance of butt-welded elbows is far less attractive than that of other manufacturing processes, butDN800The above-mentioned elbows cannot be produced and manufactured by other processing techniques, and thus the butt-welded elbow production process is required.
