I. Construction Process of Glass Railings

Ii. Construction Steps for Glass Railings

1.Base treatment: The elevation, position and quantity of embedded parts must comply with the design and installation requirements, and have undergone anti-corrosion and anti-rust treatment.

2.At the positions where the vertical poles of the railings are installed, the base concrete must not be loose, and the installation elevation should comply with the design requirements. Uneven areas must be removed or repaired to make them smooth.

3.Install embedded parts (add embedded parts later) : The installation of the embedded parts for the railing can only be done by adding the embedded parts later. The method is to use expansion bolts and steel plates to make the post-connection parts. First, mark the lines on the civil construction base to determine the position of the column fixation points. Then, drill holes on the staircase floor with an impact drill to install the expansion bolts. The bolts should be of sufficient length. After the bolts are positioned, tighten the bolts and weld the nuts to the bolts at the same time. Prevent the nut and the steel plate from loosening.

4.Layout: Due to the above-mentioned construction of embedded parts, errors may occur. Therefore, before the installation of the columns, the layout should be redone to determine the position of the embedded plates and the accuracy of the welded vertical rods.

5.Tempered glass and other balustrades should be installed after the completion of the vertical poles. The installation must be firm and the verticality, horizontaliness and slope should meet the design requirements. During installation, the balustrades should be embedded in the grooves of the vertical poles on both sides. The gaps between the grooves and both sides of the balustrades should be filled and fixed with hard rubber strips. After the handrails are installed, they should be filled with sealant.
